WELCOME TO THE ARCTIC FOX EXPLORER SCOUT UNIT WEBSITE Here, you will find a constant source of information about the activities of the Explorers Scout Unit in Felpham. Learn about the group and what we do, access information and resources or browse the upcoming events and activities.
Arctic Fox Explorer Scout Unit was established in January 2008 and currently meets weekly at 1st Felpham scout HQ on Thursday nights. The unit opened with just 6 members and from here the unit has grown steadily, we now have just reached 40 explorer scouts on our books all aged between 14 and 18 with more potential scouts wanting to join.
	Some of the activities that we do include sailing, climbing, caving, hiking, camping, cycling, ice skating, scout skills and life skills. The unit is run by volunteers who give their time and energy freely for the benefit of Scouting in Felpham, Middleton on Sea and surrounding areas.
The aim is to fulfill the purpose of the Scout movement by promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities. This is achieved by following a balanced programme covering various Zones.
